As a company that operates across three shifts and supports a diverse workforce, we understand how difficult it can be to find childcare that matches varying work schedules. With childcare costs continuing to rise and availability shrinking—especially in rural communities—parents need options that are both reliable and flexible. Through this partnership with TOOTRiS, we’re taking meaningful steps to meet that need.
What the Partnership Provides
Beginning in January 2025, Contec associates will receive premium access to the TOOTRiS platform, which offers around-the-clock childcare solutions. Through TOOTRiS, parents can search for, vet, and enroll their children in licensed care centers, before-and-after school programs, summer camps, emergency care services, and even familial care, for those who rely on trusted neighbors and family members for childcare. All tailored to their specific schedules and needs.
To further support our associates, Contec is also providing a monthly stipend of up to $250 to help offset the cost of care. This benefit is designed not only to ease the financial burden of childcare, but also to give working parents peace of mind and greater flexibility in balancing work and family life.
A Broader Impact

This initiative is also an extension of Contec’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) focus on Early Childhood Education. Our CEO and Co-Founder Jack McBride, a longtime advocate for early learning, explains why this matters: “Eighty percent of brain development occurs in the first three years of life. Proper stimulation during this time is critical for children to be ready to learn when they enter kindergarten. We want our associates’ children to thrive—and we believe this benefit supports that mission.”
