Why We Created It
As Contec continues to grow, so does our responsibility to lead with integrity. The Supplier Code of Conduct was developed to guide our partnerships as we expand globally, collaborate across cultures, and prioritize sustainability. We know that ethical business practices, fair labor conditions, environmental responsibility, and community engagement are not just expectations—they're essential to how we operate and how we build trust.
In 2024, we deepened our commitment to corporate social responsibility by aligning with the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) and earning a Committed Badge from EcoVadis, placing us in the top 38th percentile of our industry. These achievements are more than milestones—they’re momentum. The Supplier Code of Conduct helps us extend that same standard to every step in our supply chain.
What This Means for Our Supplier Relationships
This Code isn’t a one-size-fits-all checklist—it’s a shared framework. We recognize that our suppliers are diverse in size, geography, and operations. What unites us is a mutual dedication to ethical conduct, safe and respectful workplaces, environmental stewardship, and community support.
By being transparent about our expectations, we’re setting the stage for stronger, more resilient partnerships. We want our suppliers to thrive alongside us—and that means working together in a way that creates value not just for business, but for people and the planet.
