Contec and Oliver Crawford: A Proud Partnership Rooted in Spartanburg and Shared Values

At Contec, we know that the strength of our business isn’t just defined by the products we deliver—it’s also shaped by the relationships we build. One relationship we’re especially proud of is our ongoing support of professional tennis player and Spartanburg native, Oliver Crawford.

From Local Roots to Global Courts

Oliver’s tennis journey began right here in Spartanburg and has taken him to some of the biggest courts around the world. After a standout collegiate career at the University of Florida—where he earned three ITA All-America honors and two First Team All-SEC selections—he turned professional in 2020.

Since then, he’s steadily climbed the ATP ranks, reaching a career-high singles ranking of No. 190 in January 2024.

2025: A Standout Season

This year has been a breakout season for Oliver. With remarkable consistency and determination, he’s captured four ITF World Tennis Tour titles—earning wins at M25 tournaments in Chennai, Luan, Shenzhen, and Bengaluru. With a stellar 34-6 win-loss record, he currently leads the tour in both titles and total matches won.

Shared Values and Community Pride

Oliver’s drive, focus, and resilience are a reflection of the values we hold close at Contec: Integrity, Respect for Others, Tolerance for Risk, and Enjoy the Ride. His fearless pursuit of his goals, both on and off the court, exemplifies the spirit of growth and grit that define our company—and our community.

Supporting Oliver isn’t just about backing a promising athlete; it’s about championing someone who truly represents Spartanburg’s strength and spirit.

Looking Ahead

As Oliver continues his rise on the international stage, Contec remains proud to be part of his journey. We’ll be cheering him on every step of the way—and celebrating every win, on the court and beyond.
