Contec’s EasyCurve Sealed Edge Mop was designed for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces in the most critical environments. This durable, lightweight mop features thermally sealed edges of a single layer hydrophilic
polyurethane foam laminated to a ribbed texture polyester microfibre fabric, giving users smooth and easy mopping for better particle pick up and contamination removal.
The disposable mop head secures firmly and easily to the curved frame by a unique system of latching tabs. The combination of the curved head and the pivoting handle makes the EasyCurve an ideal tool for all areas of the cleanroom especially difficult to access coving joints between walls and floors or ceilings. All components of the EasyCurve Sealed Edge system are autoclavable. For convenience, EasyCurve mop heads are available validated sterile. The EasyCurve Sealed Edge mop uses a separate curved wringer that installs over an autoclavable bucket to completely and easily remove liquid and contaminants from the mop head.
The weight of the mop is considerably reduced over a self-wringing mop as the addition of the wringer to the handle adds at least ½kg to the overall weight of the mop. The EasyCurve mop is up to 50% lighter than a self wringing mop. All components of the EasyCurve Sealed Edge system are autoclavable.
