Managing Cleanrooms and Controlled Environments Course

This two-day course provides practical and theoretical information on contamination control and cleanroom management. Various operational areas will be discussed including design, certification, personnel, cleaning and sanitization, environmental monitoring, and cleanroom supplies. Topics include overview of design and qualification, people and particles, training, methods for surface contamination control, repair and maintenance technologies, start-up of a facility, updates of standards including the revision of ISO 14644-1 and the application, HVAC PQ outline and requirements, environmental monitoring and frequencies, smoke studies, and the management of both classified and non-classified controlled environments. Emphasis is placed on new developments and methods for operating every level of classified and non-classified but controlled areas.
